The newest member of the Arduino family has arrived. The Leonardo has all the aspects that make the UNO such a lovely product (ample input/output pins, plenty of code and variable space) and adds a few additional features. The board is based on the ATmega32u4 microcontroller, which has on board USB support, meaning no need for an extra chip, and your sketches can now interact with your computer as if the board were a keyboard or mouse.
- On board USB support means your sketches can act like a USB keyboard or mouse.
- Loads of code (32KB flash) and variable (2KB SRAM) space
- Great community support
- Uses a standard micro USB cable (same as used for charging modern phones)
