It's been a couple of months with a holiday in the middle, so we'd forgive you if you'd forgotten that the Maker Faire UK is heading to the Life Science Centre in Newcastle on the 25th and 26th of April this year. That may sound like a decent amount of time to get prepared, but if you were hoping to exhibit the organisers have issued their deadline warning: anyone interested in setting up a stall at the show has until the 25th of January to do so, after which applications will be closed. If you're on the fence, we can tell you from experience that being at a Maker Faire as an exhibitor is a great experience - and one open to anyone with something interesting to show off, whether you're making as a business or as a hobby. Full details are available, as always, on the official website, while the application form for exhibitors is hosted on SurveyMonkey - and be sure to let us know if we'll be seeing you there.
Maker Faire UK is the greatest show (and tell) on Earth! It’s a two day family friendly festival of invention and creativity, bringing together over 300 hackers, crafters, coders, DIYers and garden shed inventors from across the globe – people who love to make stuff and who want to share their passion with the public.
