The most wonderful time of the year is approaching! No, not Christmas: preparations have started for the Halifax Mini Maker Faire 2015. While we have a lot of love for the national Maker Faire events, the local Mini variants offer us a chance to meet up with fellow UK Maker Belt denizens and talk about the hobby that brings us all together. Last year's début Halifax Mini Maker Faire was a blast, and there's no reason to think this year's will be any less enjoyable. For anyone wanting to join us in exhibiting - and, remember, it's open to anyone with something to show, from the professional maker business through to someone who made A Thing in their garden shed or spare room - the call for makers has been made. Applications should be made by the 24th of April 2015, with the event itself taking place inside Eureka The National Children’s Museum on Saturday the 30th and Sunday the 31st of May. If you're planning to attend, either as an exhibitor or as a guest, let us know and we'll see you there!
Are you a techie, hacker, sculptor, programmer? Do you create, tinker, tear apart and invent? Fancy joining us is the UK’s foremost children’s museum to inspire, demo and play? Yes? Woohoooo! Just fill in our Call for Makers form and we’ll take it from there.
